Bachelor’s and Master’s Thesis Templates
Separate projects are provided for bachelor’s and master’s theses, each producing both the thesis and its submission abstract. They include cross-reference examples for figures, tables, equations, and references, as well as bibliography isolation, list-of-figures and list-of-tables controls, acknowledgements, achievements, and a sample disclosure for the use of generative AI.
Read the README in each ZIP before use. The compiler is LuaLaTeX, with TeX Live 2025 or later recommended. This is a writing aid from Usami Laboratory, not an official format of Chubu University or any college, graduate school, or department. Current submission requirements and the supervisor’s instructions take precedence.
The sample name, research topics, values, achievements, acknowledgements, and AI-use statements are fictional. The sample references are real publications.
On Overleaf’s free plan, the first LuaTeX-ja compilation may reach the compile-time limit while building the font cache. If this occurs, download the project from GitHub and build it locally with TeX Live 2025 or later. Clean local builds have been validated. Published July 29, 2026.
